Taps was sounded following the rifle volleys.Legion Chaplin, Ron Turcotte, delivered a very moving prayer honoring all who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.World War 2 Veterans Al Holmes and Vasco Brovelli render honors after placing a wreath at the Town Hall Veterans’ Monument. After the ceremony everyone moved inside to enjoy a fine luncheon co-sponsored by the American Legion, VFW, and the Lions Club. Tickets are still available for the initial Holliston High School Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony to be held on Saturday March 25, 2023, at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Milford.
After much deliberation, the Celebrate Holliston Committee is saddened to announce that the annual September Field Day and Parade will be cancelled for 2020, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
