The Holliston Board of Assessors is an elected body of three (3) members. Due to a resignation, one seat is open for appointment for a period ending May 2025 (next Town election), at which time the remainder of the term of the open seat will be on the ballot.
Any resident interested in appointment to the seat through the May 2025 may send in a Letter of Interest to the Town Administrator’s Office to be reviewed and considered by the Board of Assessors and Select Board. Due date for submission will be June 11, 2024 at 4:00 p.m with deliberation/appointment to be scheduled thereafter.
A Letter of Interest must include: name, address, background information and/or qualifications, and reason for interest in the Board of Assessors. Must be a registered voter of the Town of Holliston.
Pursuant to Town By-Laws, appointment of Board of Assessors member will require roll call vote of the Board of Assessors and Select Board, followed by a swearing in by the Town Clerk before the appointed person will be a voting member of the Board of Assessors.
