Somedays you’re the bug, somedays you’re the windshield. I was defint4ely the bug this week 🙂
This stuff can’t be made up — I went away for a week to help a friend who wanted me to watch her house and dogs. This is usually fine except I forgot my laptop…For most people who are 30 minutes from home this isn’t a problem, after all, dogs can survive for 30 minutes (to an hour or more) on their own….However, since I don’t drive (trust me you do not want me on the roads) — it wasn’t exactly easy.
So, I got the laptop on Saturday and dutifully booted it up to catch up — two things happened – first, my travel laptop hasn’t been used in months so it took almost six hours to update windows/office. Ok that works. Then I logged into this site – and it didn’t exist <facepalm>
Fortunately, our server is awesome and they had me back up online within hours and had all of our data restored to exactly what it was the last day we posted.
During this week I will catch up — I apologize (again) for my thickheadedness 🙂
