The Farmers’ Market at Blair Square will hold a Biggest Tomato Contest this Sunday, September 5th.
The contest is only open to backyard gardeners.
Weighing in time is at 11 am.

The Big Chief Band will play at the Outpost Farm in Holliston this Saturday, October 23, from 11:30-2:30 pm.
While most locals associate Charlie Nickerson with the founding of Out Post Farm and turkeys, Nickerson now has a new title as Holliston’s oldest veteran.

The Holliston Garden Club and the Friends of Trees have been advocating for Holliston to become a Tree City USA since August of last year. The Select Board has agreed to submit an application to become a Tree City USA. Part of this program’s requirements include adopting a by-law that protects trees in the community.
