What a week – Fathers’ Day in October at the Historical Society and the Walking School Bus takes off this Wednesday morning. Several meetings are on tap this week.

Fathers’ Day in October – Only At The Historical Society
It’s never too late to celebrate Fathers’ Day. Delayed by the pandemic, this car show and breakfast in the barn has become a favorite among car enthusiasts and area residents who come to see the cars and trucks on display at the Historical Society Grounds @ 547 Washington Street in Holliston.

Miller Students Contribute to Holliston Author Peters’ Soon to Be Published Debut
This January, local Holliston author Shawn Peters’ middle grade superhero debut, The Unforgettable Logan Foster (HarperCollins, January 4) will be on sale for readers everywhere! Holliston was an integral part of Peters’ writing process – over 100 5th graders from Miller Elementary, where his wife was a teacher, read his manuscript before it was even published.

Fair Weather and Apple Pies Draw Visitors to Historical Society’s Harvest Fair
The Holliston Historical Society’s (HHS) Harvest Fair, held on its picturesque grounds, drew a crowd from near and far Sunday, September 19, 2021. The house, the barn, and the front yard over-flowed with yummies, treasures, tunes, and opportunities for all to enjoy. The sun shone brightly on the historic yellow house on Washington Street, and its lawn buzzed with the activity of a community about to make up for lost time.

SSF Senior Center Fall Fair Returns After 2 Year Hiatus
The crisp, cool morning air portended a great start to the 2021 SSF Yard Sale. Tables and rooms had been carefully prepared, some stuffed to overflowing with donations from every corner of Holliston and beyond.
