COVID-19: November 17, 2020 Update from Representative Dykema
As you know, the stage of reopening that cities and towns are allowed to enter currently depends on the risk level they are assigned in weekly public health reports released by the Department of Public Health. Communities need to be designated “lower risk” for three weeks in a row to be allowed to enter Step 2 of Phase III of reopening.
Council on Aging Holds November Meeting
Holliston’s Council on Aging met recently held its November meeting via Zoom. Chair Bob Malone called the meeting to order at 1:02 pm.

Anita Lombardo at 86
Anita Lombardo, age 86, of Holliston, died peacefully at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, November 14, 2020, in Northbridge, MA.
Norman K. Gillen at 82
Norman K. Gillen, 82, a retired patrolman, died Monday, November 9, 2020 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after an illness. The funeral will be held Monday, November 16, at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street (please meet at the church).

School Committee Meeting – November 12, 2020
The School Committee reconvened at 8:01 PM on Thursday evening, following a 7 PM executive session. Members voted to accept meeting minutes from August 3, 2020, meeting and quickly attended to business at hand.

HDAAC Announces Virtual Program
Holliston Drug and Alcohol Awareness Coalition (HDAAC) is sponsoring “Moving Forward with Hope,” a virtual prayer service for recovery from addiction. Planned for November 19, at 7PM, the virtual event features Dr. Thomas Kimball, a guest speaker from the Collegiate Recovery Communities, followed by the interfaith prayer service.
