On the eve of Kathryn Peirce’s last day as Holliston’s Principal Assessor, the Holliston Reporter stopped by to chat. Many at that time in their career would have told me to go away – not Kathryn (Kathy to friends). Kampersal nipped Jasper Rock, 22-2 behind the bats of slugger, 1B Alex Kampersal (4-6, 5 RBI) and P George Kampersal, Jr who hit for the cycle and drove in the other 17 runs. It was a 15-run first that did in Jasper as Kampersal batted around and never looked back. Kampersal’s trademark solid defense made sure Jasper had no chance of getting back in the game.
Marked Tree Road resident Robert Hopkins has been selected by this year’s Memorial Day Committee to serve as the parade marshal for the annual Memorial Day Parade.
