Serious Accident Closes Highland Street at Summit Pointe Sunday Night
HPD Chief Matthew Stone has released this information regarding a serious motor vehicle crash. MedFlight helicopters transported the victims to Worcester.
The accident investigation is ongoing.
Junior Police Academy: August 8 – 12, 2022
This reporter chronicled the Holliston Police Department’s eighteenth Jr. Police Academy, a one-week experience focused on: teamwork, law enforcement activities, and a healthy lifestyle. This account will follow the group chronologically from when they arrived at HPD Headquarters Monday at 9:00am until they graduated on Friday at 3:00pm.

Motor Vehicle Crash at Highland and Prentice Snarls Morning Traffic
At approximately 7:29 am Tuesday morning a multi-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Highland and Prentice Streets.
The accident is still under investigation – expect continuing traffic disruption.

Junior Police Academy 2022 – Enrollment is Now Open
The Junior Police Academy is back! For two sessions this summer the Holliston Police Department will be offering a free, one-week Junior Police Academy! From July 25-29 and August 8-12. The registration deadline is June 10 or once all spots are filled. Students from 6-8 grade are encouraged to register.

Downtown Light Post Gets Hit
Repair crews had only recently replaced the decorative tall lamp post in front of Bright Insurance (Jensen & Sheehan) in the town center when Thursday the lamp post across the street in front of Casavant Realty suffered a similar fate.
May 16, 2022; Peace Officer Memorial Day in Holliston
Peace Office Memorial Day is part of the weeklong observance of Police Week. The Holliston Select Board proclaimed Monday, May 16th as the Town-wide observance to remember those HPD officers who have passed – including Officer John Johnson killed in the line of duty on August 13, 1981.
