Constance “Connie” Marie Tynan at 84

Constance “Connie” Marie Tynan, 84, of Franklin and formerly of Holliston, passed away at Saint Patrick’s Manor in Framingham on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Bridget C. (Nicholas) and Kenneth C. Washburn Sr. She was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Edward A. Tynan Jr.

Connie retired as a telephone operator from the former New England Telephone Company and later in life enjoyed a career as a switchboard operator at Home National Bank. Most of all, Connie loved her many years raising five children, aka “The Fabulous Five”.

Connie is survived by her five children, Tracy Tynan and his wife, Laura of Owens Cross Roads, AL, Cheryl Crivello and her husband, Rich of Millville, Nancy Evanko and her husband, Patrick of Ashburn, VA, Lisa Davis and her husband, Peter of Westfield, IN, and Glen Tynan and his wife, Michelle of Grafton. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother, Kenneth C. Washburn Jr. and her granddaughter, Megan Tynan.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 12th from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the St. Jude Foundation, www.stjude.org or to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine – Xaverian Missionaries, 101 Summer St, Holliston, MA 01746
