Holliston High School’s volleyball players hosted their annual “Dig Pink” event on October 7th. This event supports breast cancer awareness efforts and raises money to contribute to breast cancer research and treatment programs through Dana Farber. Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity players came together in the weeks ahead of the event to prepare for this fundraiser and encourage the high school community, as well as the broader Holliston community, to attend. On October 7th the gym was decorated with pink streamers, pink balloons, and many Dig Pink posters made by the players. The players’ uniforms were pink and the energy in the gym was palpable. There were raffles for gift baskets and a great array of pink baked goods. The event raised a total of $1897. Thank you to everyone who helped in the preparations and to all those who attended and contributed to Dig Pink 2024!
