Full House at Laser Show

Cars were lined up down Hollis Street for the 4th of July Laser Light Show at the high school Thursday evening. The event, the third held in Holliston drew the largest crowd to date, The first show in 2018 was held at the 8 Arch Bridge on Woodland Street for the grand opening of the rail trail. A second show was held at Goodwill Park two years later.

Organizers ran out of free glow sticks of which there were 1,200 before the show started. Its estimated there were 2,900 to 3.000 people in attendance. The show featured laser lights across the tree’s to the rear of the audience, while cartoonish characters danced across the rear of the field house. TC Scoops mobile van never caught a break Thursday evening as 90-100 people lined up for an ice cream.

Legion Commander Martin Spellacy headed up the show committee which was sponsored by the 300th Anniversary Committee, the American Legion and VFW.
