Holliston Garden Club Beautification Fund

The Holliston Garden Club has established a beautification fund thanks to a generous initial gift from lifetime member Kathy Thomas and her husband John. This fund will be used to finance the various planting projects the club maintains as well as allow the club to pursue new plantings of trees and gardens around the town of Holliston.

The Garden Club, which just celebrated its 90th anniversary, has been responsible for a number of garden projects including the library, Arbor Day tree plantings and the fountain at Town Hall. In 2024, the Club designed and began the planting of a native plant garden at the side of Holliston town hall. The Club is also responsible for the multi-season plantings for 10 containers around town. For a complete list of Holliston Garden Club civic projects please visit our website at hollistongardenclub.org.

For many years these projects have been funded through club fund-raising activities such as the annual holiday event, and the plant sale. Covid paused these events for several years, straining the club’s resources for civic projects. Ms. Thomas suggested the creation of a dedicated fund to allow the club to focus on new sources of fund raising. Funds in the new account may only be used for beautification projects that benefit Holliston.

The Garden Club is a 501c3 charitable organization. As a non-profit club that benefits our Town of Holliston, all donations are welcome. Please visit the club’s website at Hollistongardenclub.org
