The Holliston Lions tradition of bringing a little extra holiday cheer to people here in town continues!
As they have for many years, the Lions prepared, packed, and delivered dozens Christmas dinners for Holliston Seniors and Veterans. The menu was complete – roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, squash, juice, rolls and pie, all packed in a colorful, sturdy, reusable bag.
The Lions are extremely grateful to the Holliston Superette for helping with food, to Wegmans Natick for donating the bags, and to Table Talk Pies, who donated the desserts. All in all, about fifteen Holliston Lions participated in the event, but it would not have been possible without the kind support of these businesses. The Lions hope the community will support them in return.
This is only one of the many community-based charitable activities the Lions do in a year. If you think of need, they might meet, or want to know more about taking part, please get in touch with them – https://hollistonmalions.org/.
And if you’re not in Holliston, please look into the Lions Club in your town or area.
