Friday night’s bonfire spectacular at the Community Farm is shaping up. New Year’s revelers are invited to attend the event which features food, music, and a huge bonfire.
The honor of torching the blaze will go to this year’s 2021 Citizen of the Year, Paul Saulnier. His female counterpart Heather Scaringella is unable to make it and wrote, “Darn it!” The fire will be lit at 9 pm.
The event will feature the Big Chief Band playing in the greenhouse. Ticket holders are reminded that masks are required in the greenhouse and are suggested, but optional in the field. Chili and hot cider will be served to ticket holders, while those purchasing tickets that evening will be served while the chili and cider last.
Tickets for the event, $10 person or $45 a family can be purchased here online: https://newyearsevebonfire.ticketspice.com/new-years-eve-bonfire-2021 or may be picked up at the Holliston Superette. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Community Farm.
Gates open at 8 pm and the event concludes at 10:30, just in time to make it home to watch the ball drop in Times Square.
Don’t forget to start the evening with a stroll on the rail trail from 5pm to 8 pm.
