Marie E. Kelley, 73, formerly of Holliston, passed away at her home surrounded by family on Orrs Island, Casco Bay, Maine. Born in Bangor, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Pearl (Pinette) and John Gibbs. She was the wife of 53 years to Thomas Kelley.
Marie was a realtor in Holliston for 38 years as well as a past secretary of the HBA. She was an active member of the community and a longtime hockey mother during the boys earlier years.
Besides her husband, Marie is survived by two sons, Patrick Kelley and his wife, Lisa of Medway and Michael Kelley and his wife, Meghan of Holliston. She also leaves behind her siblings, Mark Gibbs and his wife, Debbie of Douglas, Yvette McLaughlin of Worcester; 6 grandchildren, Michayla, Nick, Alex, Samantha Kelley and Caroline and Alexander McCluskey; her sister-in-law, Noelle Ratto and her husband, Charlie of Sudbury and brothers-in-law, Tim Kelley, John Demar and Paul Marston all of Holliston as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her very special uncle, Joseph “Little Joe” Pinette; her in-laws, John and Marjorie Kelley and sister-in-law, Marilyn Marston.
A private graveside service will be held at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, a donation made to Joslin diabetes center is greatly appreciated. Joslin.org
