Land Donation Adds Another Piece of the Puzzle to Adams St Public Land

If you look online at the map of the Holliston Town Forest on Adams St., it is mostly shaded green, indicating it is public forest or conservation land. For years in the middle of the forest there was a 22-acre parcel that appeared as a white rectangle because it was privately owned.

Select Board Examines 555 Hopping Brook Project

The Select Board opened its Monday, March 29, 2021 meeting at 6:30pm. The early start was to allow extended time to discuss the proposed development at 555 Hopping Brook. Nearly 4 hours of the meeting was devoted to hearing presentations, comments, and questions related to the planned 800,000 square foot facility.

As the weather gets warmer and we vaccinate a growing portion of our population, it begins to feel like we are coming to a “light at the end of the tunnel” of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 400,000 doses of vaccine were shipped to Massachusetts last week, and 27% of residents of Middlesex and Worcester Counties have received at least one dose.

Braggville – Kampersal Dairy Farm is the home to more than a handful of animals. The wheels on the old milk truck have been set to rust. But the bovine tradition carries on here—now a meat farm. The Kampersals care for their animals until rest. Holstein cows, plump piggies, ducks, turkeys, and chicks prowl the rows of corn and cantaloupe.
