We may not be Boston’s Hatch Shell or Lenox’s Tanglewood but for one night in August we can all pretend. On Saturday August 17th from 6-8 pm Paul Surapines Claflin Hill Orchestra from Milford will perform at Blair Square.
It’s sure to be a tight fit as the Square is small and parking in the area is limited. Parking can be found at the Adams, Placentino, and Miller Schools, simply park, cross Woodland Street and stroll just up the rail trail to the square. Bring a blanket or chair for the event and those with high backed chairs are asked to settle in on the outside perimeter of the square so everyone has a good view.
Don’t forget to visit local businesses in the area —Central Cafe, TJ Scoops, Table Top, or Casey’s Pub for your favorite snacks. This is a one of so please bear with us and the crowds and don’t forget to place your trash in the provided barrels. The event is sponsored by the 300th Anniversary Committee. Enjoy!
