The Tuesday, February 16, 2021 Select Board meeting was called to order by Vice-chair Tina Hein as Mr. Cronin was away.

As we continue to work to increase the speed and accessibility of the COVID-19 vaccine distribution process in Massachusetts, many of you have taken the time to share valuable feedback and input with my office and the COVID-19 Command Center. Following repeated concerns expressed by legislators, residents, and others, the Baker administration recently released an updated COVID-19 vaccine scheduling website.

The program offers short-term weekly classes with the next session meeting on April 6, 13, 20 and 27; online registration starts at 11am on March 8.

Monday is Presidents’ Day. No school this week in Holliston. Water payments are due Tuesday, Feb. 16th.

In addition to the Athletic Director’s review of Fall II Season sports, the School Committee (SC) heard a presentation of the Superintendent’s Budget FY22 recommendations during Thursday (2.11.21) evening’s SC meeting.

Today, I am announcing the creation of the new Senate Special Committee on Reimagining Massachusetts: Post-Pandemic Resiliency.

The February meeting of the Holliston Council on Aging (CoA) was convened by Vice-chair, Bob Hopkins on Wednesday the 10th.

Holliston Fire Chief Michael R. Cassidy, Holliston Police Chief Matthew Stone, State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey and Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan said that a space heater started the January 18, 2021 fire at 623 Winter Street in Holliston.
