Several medical emergencies were logged during this reporting period, chief among them a bicyclist seriously injured and requiring a MedFlight to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Abandoned Swimming Pools – Free Mosquito Treatment Available
The Holliston Board of Health has passed along this information from the CMMCP regarding treating unused swimming pools to prevent mosquito spread.

The Holliston Farmer’s Market opens for business TODAY from 9:30 – 1:00.
Several Board / Committee meetings are planned for the coming week. A report on the feasibility of using the Linden St. wastewater plant for treating downtown sewage will highlight Monday’s Select Board meeting.

This reporter was embedded with an unwitting group of golfers who thought I was a ringer added to their group.
The soggy conditions dampened the players but not their spirit to support the cause – a large donation to the Holliston Pantry Shelf.

Select Board Hears Report on the HFD’s Organization Evaluation – and Re-organizes the Board
A different view of Holliston’s Select Board, but the same passion for doing important work for our town. Recently re-elected Select Board Chair (for part of this meeting) called the May 31, 2022, meeting to order at 7:00pm. Continuing the series of presentations on the many studies / projects underway, the Board launched into its first order of business.

Library Trustees Conduct Annual Meeting
The Library Trustees met Wednesday, June 1, the Annual Meeting following the Town Election of May 24, when Gwyneth Swain and Kristi Wiwczar were re-elected and Mareourn Yai was elected to the group.
