Robert “Bobby” K. Bowles at 72
Robert K. Bowles, 72, “Bobby” of Seabrook, NH passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the arms of his loving family after a lengthy illness with vascular dementia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12th from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 4:00.

Long Night, Several Meetings for School Committee
Thursday evening, February 3, 2022, provided a full schedule for the School Committee (SC). The night began with a 5-7 PM meeting to discuss “Special Needs,” followed by its 7 PM bi-monthly meeting, ending with an Executive Session for the purpose of Collective Bargaining. Library Trustees’ February 2022 Meeting
The Holliston Library Trustees (LT) met on Wednesday, February 2, at 7 PM. The remote meeting was called to order by Chair Karla Alfred. Library Director Leslie McDonnell steered the Trustees through an agenda that included a COVID mitigation as well as updates of several topics of interest to the general public.

New FirstNet Cell Site Launches in Holliston to Support First Responders
What’s the news? Holliston’s first responders are getting a major boost in their wireless communications thanks to the FirstNet® network expansion currently underway by AT&T. We’ve added a new, purpose-built cell site located in Holliston, which will cover portions along Marilyn Street and surrounding neighborhoods and businesses. This new site is giving first responders on FirstNet – America’s public safety network – access to always-on, 24-hours-a-day priority and preemption across voice and data.
