Bonfire is ON, With a Change
When rain canceled the Haunted Walk at the Holliston Community Farm this past October, organizers moved the event to the following week. While not quite the same as on the celebrated date, organizers were pleased that their efforts were supported residents.

Bertha Mendez, 91, of Holliston, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Lake View Cemetery in Wayland.

Friday night’s bonfire spectacular at the Community Farm is shaping up. New Year’s revelers are invited to attend the event which features food, music, and a huge bonfire.

Trash/recycling pickup will follow the normal schedule. The recycling center will be open on Thursday, Dec. 30th; 8-3.

Today, our calendars are filled with many holidays and even Chase’s Calendar of Events assigns something to commemorate every day of the year. By the way, January 2022, according to Chase, is “officially” Be Kind to Food Servers Month, Oatmeal Month, Rising Star Month – worldwide – and Book Blitz Month, all worthy to be celebrated. But it wasn’t always like that.
