Local Shopkeepers say “Buy It Now”

Kamala Boutique owner Kate Lamontague told the Holliston Reporter on Wednesday that sixty to seventy percent of her merchandise is either held up or canceled. Lamontague said that her business hasn’t popped back since the pandemic arrived nearly twenty months ago. People just didn’t come out Lamontague explained.

HNN Great Pumpkin Rail Trail Walk October 31st

Holliston Newcomers & Neighbors invites you to join us at our Great Pumpkin Trail Walk on Sunday, October 31st from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Holliston Rail Trail. There are games set up along the first section of the trail up to the first bridge – great for young kids of all ages – and small prizes are distributed. The Great Pumpkin Trail Walk is an allergy-free way to celebrate Fall for the whole family.

ONEmetrowest Campaign Emphasizes Community Service, and A $50,000 Match

Building off their successful 2020 campaign, the Foundation for MetroWest announces its 2nd annual ONEmetrowest Day on October 29th with an increased emphasis on community involvement and raising critical support for its mission.  The Foundation, with the support of Foundation Trustee Louis Crosier, and his wife Hope, will match every gift made on ONEmetrowest Day, up to $50,000. In another effort to step up for the community, the Foundation for MetroWest is calling on community members to volunteer with one of six participating non-profit partners, going the extra mile to invest in the region through action.
