Harvard Medical School affiliate Hebrew SeniorLife, a nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of older adults, today announced Tammy Retalic, M.S., R.N., Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services, is the Organization of Nurse Leaders’ 2021 recipient of the Elaine K. Sherwood Service Award. The prestigious award, given annually since 1993, recognizes leaders who exemplify outstanding commitment and contribution to the work of the Organization of Nurse Leaders, a nonprofit, professional membership organization for current and aspiring nurse leaders.

A Key to a Bit of Native American Language in Holliston
Town Historian, Joanne Hulbert shares a language lesson. English is the dominant language of Massachusetts and Holliston since its settlement. There was a language spoken here long before the arrival of the Europeans who paid scant attention to the language spoken by the Native Americans. Fortunately, a few people did.

Holliston Receives “AAA” Bond Rating
Wednesday, June 30, 2021: Holliston, MA: The Town of Holliston has received an upgraded bond rating from Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings (“S&P”) to AAA, the highest available long-term rating on its outstanding general obligation (GO) bonds (upgraded from AA+).
