Carnival and Light Show Meld – Save the Dates
The COVID-19 Pandemic still has its tentacles in planning and events, especially concerning those involving larger groups. Last year the local Lions Club cancelled its annual carnival due to Governor Baker’s stay-at-home orders. The local American Legion Post 47, equally affected, cancelled its Laser Light Show at Goodwill Park in July to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

Milestone: Holliston Nurse Practitioner Pessin Recognized by Boston Globe
Kerrilyn Pessin, Nurse Practitioner with Commonwealth Cares Alliance, wife to Daniel Pessin and mother of four children, was recognized by her employer and selected by The Boston Globe for her efforts both in volunteering to be a on a COVID-19 task force where she provided in-home care to patients throughout the pandemic, and continues today, and for caring for a patient unable to obtain needed medical treatment during the Governor’s stay-at-home orders at the start and most fearful time of the pandemic.

Chair David Thorn called the June 3, 2021, meeting of the Holliston Planning Board to order at a little past 7:00pm. He welcomed newly elected member Barbara Peattie to the Board.
