The Select Board kicked off 2021 with its weekly meeting on January 4, 2021. Chair John Cronin called the meeting to order and invited Fire Chief Michael Cassidy to provide his COVID update to the Board.

No matter how you slice it, 2020 was a remarkable year. We have looked back at some of the remarkably good things that happened in Holliston last year (doesn’t the past tense sound good?) There is no doubt that our community faced a most daunting 2020. We have chosen to focus on the positive reactions / actions to the calamities that we believe make Holliston such a special place.

Happy New Year and New Speed Limit
It’s 2021!! That means that the 2020 is finished (phew!) AND most Holliston roadways have a new, slower statutory speed limit.

William Thomas Colwell at 88
William Thomas Colwell, 88, of Uxbridge and formerly of Holliston, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester on Monday, December 28, 2020.
A graveside inurnment service will be held on Wednesday, January 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
