Holliston Public Schools Announces Destruction of Student Records

The Massachusetts Student Record Regulations authorize public school districts to destroy student records within seven (7) years of a student’s graduation, transfer or withdrawal from the school district. The Holliston Public Schools, Department of Student Services, will be complying with these regulations. The persons affected are those who received special education services in Holliston and terminated services during the 2012-2013 school years.

Mark Yockey at 70

Mark Yockey, 70, of Holliston, passed away unexpectedly while on a long haul trucking job in Virginia. A graveside service will take place on Monday, August 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston.

Select Board Hears A Lot About Truck Traffic

Approximately 120 people Zoomed in or dialed in to the Select Board’s Public Forum regarding Lowland Industrial Park traffic. The meeting convened precisely at 7:00 pm, Tuesday August 25th, with Select Board Chair John Cronin outlining the format and ground rules for the session.
