September has seen its share of historical events in Massachusetts. Here are some notable occurrences from Massachusetts history in September:

The Village on the Green development is located at 245 Washington Street in the Town of Holliston, Massachusetts. The site is 12.99 acres, and the project consists of sixteen detached condominium units, of which four will be affordable and sold via lottery.

Please join the Friends of the Sherborn Library for the Sherborn Library’s Fall art show: En Plein Air, that will feature two local artists who both focus on nature and the world around us. Obie Miller is an en plein air painter who learns directly from nature by immersing himself completely into the environment. For this show, Miller has focused on nearby locations in Sherborn, Dover and Holliston. Aiden Garrity is a wildlife photographer, based in Framingham, who captures detailed photos of wild animals in their environments. Small refreshments will be provided by the artists.

American Legion Post 47 Past Commander Stephen Bradford announced recently that the annual 9/11 Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2022, at 10:00am in the Upper Town Hall. At the weekly Monday night HFD drill the department continued their readiness training. Several fire trucks and crews convened at the Holliston High School for practicing a variety of fire suppression skills under the direction of our two on-call Deputy Chiefs – Alan Greendale, Sr., and Michael Gulla.
