The Holliston Select Board April 24, 2023, meeting was convened at 7:01pm by Chair Ben Sparrell. In a shift, Vice-chair John Cronin provided the adjective for the meeting’s agenda – he used the word light.

Kimayo’s “My Queer Faith” Tour Coming to Holliston

Singer-songwriter Kimayo will perform at First Congregational Church in Holliston on Sunday, April 30 at 6 pm as part of her tour, “My Queer Faith.” The concert is a joint production of First Congregational Church and Temple Beth Torah.
Local Author Publishes Debut Novel

This spring, Holliston resident Emma Fedor was proud to release her debut novel, At Sea (Gallery Books). The book, which Fedor describes as part romance, part thriller, part coming-of-age, follows Cara, a recent college graduate and aspiring artist spending the summer on Martha’s Vineyard with her aunt and uncle.

National Invitational Baseball Tournament to Feature Holliston 5th & 6th Graders

This summer, a team of Holliston 5th and 6th graders will be participating in the Cooperstown Dreams Park 12U Baseball Tournament. This national invitational tournament brings teams from all over the country together in the birthplace of baseball, Cooperstown, NY.

Generation Ratify Holliston Names Officer Ciavarra Woman of the Month

Hannah Ciavarra was not always interested in being an officer. However, with an interest in sports and a desire for a new challenge everyday, Officer Ciavarra wanted to pursue law enforcement. She wanted a job where it would never be the same each day, she could learn something new, and would be able to socialize with others. With the help of school counselors in college, she graduated with a bachelors in criminal justice.
