Crash (sort of), Country; driver reports a deer ran into the side of his car and then ran off, causing driver to brush against a utility pole.
K9 training, October Hill; obedience/recall training (toasters and Subarus).
December 18:
Complaint, Beverley; caller reports neighbor yelling at her from her porch (horn still broken). On-going problem.
Parking complaint, Turner; four vehicles towed from the lot (that caller has some pull).
K9 training, 375 Hopping Brook; tracking exercise.
Complaint, Westfield; use of grandmother’s car without permission. Party advised. (I know one house where Santa won’t be stopping).
Animal incident, Fiske Pond; barking dog. On-going problem. Owner advised again.
December 19:
Animal incident, 815 Central; report of swan in the road. ACO caught and released the swan in safe location (Swan Lake).
Suspicious vehicle; Adams; caller reports car appears to be driven by passenger. HPD found two people in the car (one named Shorty).
December 20:
Animal incident; Ashland/Concord; dead deer in the road. Moved to the side of the road.
Larceny, 229 Lowland; snowplow stolen and four trucks with plows tampered with causing damage.
Animal incident, Marshall/Gorwin; deer struck but r-a-n-n o-f-t.
December 22:
Larceny, 461 Washington; A/C unit stolen (just because it’s ice cold now, doesn’t mean it works).
Animal incident, Marshall; injured deer in the area. Dispatcher dispatched the Dispatcher to dispatch the deer (two nouns and two verbs).
Vehicle stop with arrest, 1201 Washington; Jose Tacuri of Milford, for failure to stop/yield and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Later dropped off at Market Basket (a fella gets hungry sitting in the slammer).
During the reporting period, 12 citations and 9 warnings were issued. Two erratic drivers were reported. Three overnight parking citations were also issued.
