Police Log for Week of September 24 – 30, 2017

September 24, 2017:

Five citations were issued today.

September 25:

Warrant service, Washington; Christopher Pope.

Check prisoner.

Well Being check, Washington; South; walker reports unresponsive male on a bike. Checked OK by HPD (HPD uniform better than smelling salts)

Assist citizen, Washington; resident placed on-line ad for free firewood. Party took firewood from wrong address. Wood returned. HPD advised using neutral spot like HPD parking lot for internet transactions.

September 26:

Crash, Dunks; Plainville car almost spilled Holliston’s coffee. Minor

Complaint, Pearl; white and green Adirondack chairs taken from yard (neighbor advertised chairs for sale?).

September 27:

Crash, Chamberlain & Jerrold; Hopkinton & Holliston cars involved. No details.

September 28:

00:23 AM, Repo Man on Paul Road.

Crash, 328 Washington; two Holliston cars. No details.

Animal incident, Windsor; report of unknown dead animal in a box on the side of the walking path (no return address?).

September 29:

Vandalism, Grove; traffic sign defaced.

September 30:

Animal incident, Hargrave; white golden retriever missing.

Animal incident, Central; black lab found (turn him loose. We are looking for a white golden)

Animal incident, North Mill; golden retriever found (that’s better)

11:00 PM, Suspicious activity, Linden; person in dark sweatshirt and pants with a red beach cart looking around Flag School lot. HPD determined that the female was delivering food for the Food Pantry.

During the reporting period, 23 citations and 8 warnings were issued. Three erratic drivers were reported.

BWTM: Life was simpler back in the day.

Thank you for this, I know the incidents are serious but your lighthearted view of them makes me smile every time.
