HOLLISTON, Mass. August 18, 2025 – The Town of Holliston is seeking applicants to fill
one open seat on the Policy Advisory Committee and two open seats on the Housing Trust
The Policy Advisory Committee’s charge is to review existing policies and procedures
through a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens and make specific recommendations for
improving policies and procedures to the appropriate Board/Committee/Commission that
oversees and particular policy or procedure. The term of the appointment will be through June
30, 2026.
The Housing Trust was established at the May 2006 Town Meeting. Its purpose is to
provide for the preservation and creation of affordable housing in the Town of Holliston for the
benefit of low and moderate income households. Of the two vacancies, one term of appointment
will be through June 30, 2026 and the other will be through June 30, 2027. Applicants should
note any preferences for a specific term in their letter of interest.
Any resident interested in these seats should send in a Letter of Interest by September 5 th ,
2025 at 12pm. Letters will be reviewed and considered by Select Board at an upcoming meeting.
A Letter of Interest must include: name, address, background information and/or
qualifications, and reason for interest in the specific committee. Applicants must be a registered
