Santa Visits the Holiday Stroll

‘Act 2″ the HHS advanced chorus serenaded trolley riders and shoppers throughout the afternoon.

Select Board member Tina Hein served as trolley captain helping riders on and off at the stops.

As always, Santa was VERY popular with the younger set.

Mike the Elf is ready to help Santa (and tree lightings) when needed.

The candlelight procession heads to Blair Square. Thank you John for providing all the candles!

Representative Carolyn Dykema and Select Board member Tina Hein welcomed the crowd to the tree lighting. All the children in the crowd were invited up to join Carloyn and Tina as they counted to 3 when the lights came on.

Ta da! What a great way to kick off the holiday season!

Had to get a quick selfie with the big guy before he headed back to the North Pole. Ho. Ho. Ho.

The Historical Society’s mission is, in part “to help enrich the life of our community by promoting historical preservation”. The community responded by buying all the seats to Oktoberfest again this year.

It’s time for the Annual Senior Center Fall Fair on Saturday Sept. 10th from 9-3.
Also, several other activities are on tap for the month – some new, some old.
A survey for Holliston’s seniors will be arriving in the mail soon. Be sure to get your input in before October 14th.
