Sunday offered many opportunities for folks to dress in their Halloween get up once and participate in a few events around town. The Newcomers and Neighbors club sponsored “The Great Pumpkin Trail Walk.” Unlike the sign below, there was serious treats available as prizes along the walk.
Down Washington Street, the Holliston Police were hosting their annual Pumpkin Patrol with vehicles on display, pumpkins to paint, and sweet treats for all.
People of all ages seem to get into the Halloween spirit by dressing up as evidenced above. Halloween fell on Monday this year which meant workers could get in on the celebrating. If you happened to go to Town Hall on Monday – to pay your taxes, water bill, or vote, you might have spied some “different” public servants.
Witches, nurses, “Hostess Cupcakes,” and “Jake from State Farm” were spotted doing their jobs on Monday.
“Buzzy” collected all the votes (not the State Election ballots) to determine the best costume awards.
You really need to get out around town on any day of the week to catch sites like these.
