Austin Rodenhiser
This senior team captain running back and linebacker led the 2024 Panthers with 71 tackles and had 2.5 sacks. On the offensive side in 2024, he ran for 319 yards and caught 19 passes for 223 yards. In 2025, he was asked to concentrate on offense as a running back where he has been the workhorse for the Panther running game with 93 carries for 608 yards and 11 rushing TDs. He rushed for a career high 213 yards against Wayland in the 2025 season opener. On the defensive side he has made 31 tackles, recovered 2 fumbles and intercepted 2 passes. He now has 138 career tackles, 4.5 sacks and 4 interceptions.
Jack Staly
As a junior free safety and defensive back, Jack Staly made 46 tackles while shutting down numerous wide receivers. He leads the team in pass breakups and is a solid defensive safety.
Junior linebacker and lineman, Jake Brodsky has filled in on both the offensive and defensive lines while also playing his linebacker role. He has come on strong this season with 51 tackles, 1 sack, 2 fumble recoveries and 1 pick-six interception. On offense, his play at fullback has produced 47 yards rushing on 16 carries with one rushing TD and numerous key blocks to free the running backs.
Max Maurao
This senior team captain outside linebacker, Max Maurao has been a consistent performer and leader for the Holliston Panthers. He leads the Panthers in tackles through the first eight games of 2025 with 67 tackles and has 145 for his career. He has four career interceptions as well. As a running back, he has 54 carries for 338 yards. As a receiver he has 12 receptions for 138 yards in 2025 and career totals of 29 receptions for 343 yards. He has shown great leadership on both sides of the ball.
Jack McDonald
This junior QB came on the scene late when the team needed a quality backup QB. After senior QB leader Tommy Quinn went down with a season ending injury, the team called on sophomore, Charlie Patrick, who filled in very well and showed great growth and promise. Three games later, he went down with an injury, and McDonald was thrust onto the QB job. He has been a very pleasant surprise as his calm leadership is matched with an accurate throwing arm and good scrambling ability. His 29 completions have resulted in 289 passing yards and 4 touchdowns through two and a half games. His 66.7 completion percentage and 99.5 passer rating to date makes him a QB to watch in the playoffs.
Matthew Gimblett
While he has missed the past three games, senior team captain Matt Gimblett has been a Panther leader on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Defensively, he has collected 50 tackles, 1 sack and 1 interception. On the offensive side, he has five receptions for 112
yards, but plays a big role on special teams with 258 total yards gained when adding kickoff and punt returns. He now has 129 tackles and 5 interceptions for his
career, including a 3-interception game against Norwood in 2024.
This senior lineman has been a defensive standout for Holliston the past two seasons, collecting 10 sacks to go along with his 72 tackles during his Panther career. He has 11 QB pressures, 20 tackles and 5 sacks so far in 2025 despite missing three games to injury.
Paul McGrath
This junior defensive end and linebacker has proven to be a vital player for the Holliston Panthers. His defense has collected 3 sacks, 20 QB pressures and 52 tackles. He is relentless on the pass rush and defense against the run. On offense he has caught 20 passes for 317 yards, including a 3-catch 104-yard performance against Hopkinton that included 2 TDs.
