The annual Fall fundraising event in support of the events, fitness classes, and a variety of activities at Holliston’s senior center is only days away! The theme of this year’s event is a Good as New Garage Sale.
With the format change, the items donated for sale have changed too. Furniture of any type, TV’s, large electronics, computers, and baby furniture and toys are NOT acceptable.
To give some guidance regarding what is accepted, the photos below taken in the Good as New Shop illustrate the types of items – in good condition – that WILL BE accepted.
The left side of the photo below shows a peek into the Center’s used bookstore. Used books – in good condition – are also acceptable donations.
Not shown in these photos – and accepted – are: handmade crafts, fresh baked goods, jewelry, and framed art. Please consider donating a prize for the silent auction table.
Donations will be accepted on Tuesday, August 20; Thursday, August 22; Tuesday, August 27; and Thursday, August 29 from 10 am to 1pm. The drop off location is 150 Goulding Street, Holliston, which is where the Sale will take place.
The Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, 9am – 3pm – Rain or Shine
