Hi Everyone, please attend and help us spread the word about some upcoming events for HDAAC:
- Wednesday, August 27th, 6-7:30 PM: Narcan Training at St. Mary’s also featuring Hidden in Plain Sight and a short interfaith prayer for those in recovery, as August 31st is Overdose Awareness Day and September is Recovery Month. Register with this link.
- Thursday, September 11th, 6-7:30 PM: HDAAC’s Kick Off Meeting at 1750 Washington Street! This is a great meeting to come to if you want to learn more about the coalition, what we’ll be tackling this year, how to get more involved, and to meet all the new faces we have joining us this year. Please respond to the calendar invite or email me back if you can attend this one so we have a count for food, as dinner is provided.
- Monday, September 15th, 10-11 AM: “Tough Topics: Parent Meet Up” at the Bird & Bear Collective in downtown Holliston! This will be a new parent educational discussions series alternating days and times from Sept – Dec. September’s theme is Back to School. Register with this link.
- Recovery Month Prayers: We did this initiative last year and are bringing it back again! Please share the attached prayer guide with your faith-based organization and use it yourself if you practice a religion throughout the month of September.
