After 15 months of masked, socially distant and small-group programming Parks and Recreation is thrilled to be looking ahead to a summer of relative normalcy. There are a number of new and exciting things the department is excited to highlight, that should serve the community’s recreational needs better than ever. Holliston’s Farmer’s Market – This Sunday; 9am – 1pm
Opening Day of the Holliston Farmer’s Market is just a couple of days away. Come down to Blair Square to see farmers, crafters, authors, and artists.
Holliston Happenings: Week of June 14, 2021
Today is Flag Day. The Governor’s Emergency Order allowing Zoom participation at meetings is set to expire on Tuesday. In person meetings MAY be required after that date – stay tuned.
MetroWest Solar + Clean Heat Challenge Launches June 17
The municipalities of Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, and Natick are proud to announce the launch of the MetroWest Solar + Clean Heat Challenge to provide residents and local small businesses with an easy and affordable option to go solar as well as switch to clean heating and cooling technologies.

FY ’21 Council on Aging (CoA) Chair Bob Malone called the June meeting to order at 2:05pm on Wednesday, June 9th. He noted that the June meeting is the Annual meeting of CoA.

Carnival and Light Show Meld – Save the Dates
The COVID-19 Pandemic still has its tentacles in planning and events, especially concerning those involving larger groups. Last year the local Lions Club cancelled its annual carnival due to Governor Baker’s stay-at-home orders. The local American Legion Post 47, equally affected, cancelled its Laser Light Show at Goodwill Park in July to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
