Holliston LEO Club Highlights Video Airing On HCAT-TV
Holliston has its very own Television station – “Holliston Cable Access.” The main purpose of HCAT-TV is to produce and televise all sorts of community television shows for the local viewing audience. Producing a TV show includes some technical knowledge and a certain level of creativity. Some residents are aware that HCAT employs a small staff and relies heavily upon volunteers to uphold our mission.

Land Donation Adds Another Piece of the Puzzle to Adams St Public Land
If you look online at the map of the Holliston Town Forest on Adams St., it is mostly shaded green, indicating it is public forest or conservation land. For years in the middle of the forest there was a 22-acre parcel that appeared as a white rectangle because it was privately owned.

Braggville – Kampersal Dairy Farm is the home to more than a handful of animals. The wheels on the old milk truck have been set to rust. But the bovine tradition carries on here—now a meat farm. The Kampersals care for their animals until rest. Holstein cows, plump piggies, ducks, turkeys, and chicks prowl the rows of corn and cantaloupe.

A Thank You to Tom Chipman
Under normal circumstances, a Parks Commissioner who has selflessly served as a volunteer for their community for over 14 years would have some formal recognition at the end of their final term. A gathering with cocktails and stories of hard-earned accomplishments to celebrate seems appropriate. Perhaps even some parting gifts from those he served with or those who worked for him. Unfortunately, this is 2020-2021, so when Tom Chipman stepped away from the Parks Commission last May, he did so quietly, with a heartfelt round of thank you’s at the end of a Zoom meeting.
