When we read a newspaper or scan a newsfeed these days, it’s hard to find information that’s not somehow related to coronavirus. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed at times by the sheer scope and impact of the times we are living through.

Just days ago (although you can be forgiven for it feeling like months ago already) we celebrated Mother’s Day. This event is always a little unusual in our family . . . this year was going to be a day unlike any other Mother’s Days I’ve known.
As we prepare for Monday’s release of additional reopening guidance, it is important to remember the general concerns we as a state must address as we move thoughtfully toward a long-term “new normal.”
If you’ve ever seen quilts with striking colors and patterns, they are truly an art form. But, skills in this craft are only part of the story. A creative eye for color and interesting fabrics are the elements of expression that make each quilt unique.
While our statewide numbers continue to slowly improve and we work to make plans to increase our future testing capacity in anticipation of staged reopening, we have to be mindful of the very real and constantly-changing threats that this virus presents.

As you may have noticed, recent news surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic can seem to be all over the place, particularly as different parts of our country or even our Commonwealth face different stages of the pandemic.
On any weekend day it is hard not to hear horns honking around Holliston. It’s not a traffic jam be a PARTY jam going on for someone’s special day. Enjoy!
