School Committee Meets
Chair Stacey Raffi opened Thursday night’s School Committee (SC) remote meeting at 7:04 PM, following Executive Session for the purpose of collective bargaining strategy with the Holliston Federation of Teachers.
The next remote and open meeting of the SC is Tuesday, May 25, at 8 PM. The agenda includes School Choice seats and a vote on the Superintendent’s contract.
Memorial Day Event Schedule Released
As part of the May 6th announcement of Holliston’s 2021 Memorial Day observance / parade, further details were forthcoming. Here are those details. We hope that all who feel safe doing so, take part in this year’s remembrance of those lost while defending our nation.
Civics Sunday: Select Board and School Committee Candidates Respond to Questions from Diverse Holliston
Town elections are Tuesday, May 25. In hopes of providing voters with helpful information, Diverse Holliston developed and presented a set of questions to each candidate of the Select Board and another set to the School Committee. Candidates were informed that their answers would be shared with the public. Diverse Holliston does not endorse any particular candidate.

CRG Presents Revised Plan to Planning Board on May 6, 2021
After conducting some review and approval for a site plan on Jeffery Street, the Planning Board reopened the Public Hearing for the 555 Hopping Brook project at 7:00pm.
COVID-19: May 17, 2021 Update from Representative Dykema
This morning, the statewide COVID-19 Command Center announced updates relative to the Commonwealth’s vaccine distribution and reopening timeline. We are currently on track to have over 4 million residents fully vaccinated by the end of May and our public health metrics for COVID-19 cases and hospitalization have decline precipitously over the past few weeks. This has allowed our public health officials to make the determination to accelerate elements of the state’s reopening timeline and other public health guidance.
