LOCAL VIBE MUSIC AWARDS CELEBRATE THE PEOPLE, PLACES AND PERFORMERS BEHIND THE LOCAL MUSIC SCENE

The local music community will come together for an afternoon of live performances, recognition and celebration at the 2026 Local Vibe Music Awards, happening Sunday, October 4 at noon at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milford.

The event is free, open to the public and 18+.

Presented by Raydio, the Local Vibe Music Awards were created to recognize the musicians, venues, event organizers and others who help keep the local music scene thriving.

This year’s event will feature 25 awards and 10 live performances throughout the afternoon.

Performing at the 2026 Local Vibe Music Awards are Captain and the Stubings, Driftwood, Roadhouse Strangers, Coffeehouse Squirrels, Fourth Year, The Bitter Hearts, Dan Rice, Box Groove, The Pub Kings and Project Alice.

Awards will be presented throughout the show in categories recognizing local bands, individual musicians, performers, venues and others who make an impact on the area music community. The event will also include the LEGEND Award, Specialty Medal Awards and the Headliner Award, which will be presented immediately before the final performance of the day by Project Alice.

“The Local Vibe Music Awards are really about celebrating the entire local music community,” said Ray Auger, founder of Raydio. “There are so many talented people performing in our area every week, along with venues, organizers and supporters who give them a place to do what they love. This is one day where we can get everybody together under one roof and celebrate them.”

The Local Vibe Music Awards are an extension of Local Vibe, Raydio’s ongoing effort to support and promote local performers, venues and events.

Raydio is a locally owned internet radio station featuring music, entertainment, community information and local personalities. Its programming includes Ray in the Morning, Local Vibe, local sports coverage and specialty programming, with an emphasis on supporting the communities and businesses of the region.
