Hurricane Helene is currently impacting the southeastern coastline of the United States, particularly affecting Florida. Many homes have been damaged and numerous families are displaced. In the face of this humanitarian crisis, we, as Lions, are prepared to step in and help. Your generous donation to LCIF enables us to continue our vital work in these challenging times. To make a cash donation, please make your checks payable to “Holliston Lions Club” and put in the MEMO LCIF – these donations ARE tax deductible (if you want a receipt,. ask for one!) and 100% of the funds raised will help areas recover quickly. Checks should be mailed to Holliston Lions Club, PO Box 6112 Holliston MA 01746. The final date for collecting cash donations will be Wednesday, October 16 at which time we will mail all donations (along with $2,500 from the Holliston Lions Club) to LCIF. In addition, we are currently collecting some of the following items to send to areas impacted by the hurricanes and will be working with local Lions Clubs in the highest impact areas to distribute these goods:
Baby wipes and formula
Baby diapers
Contractor trash bags
Hand sanitizer and wipes
Dog and Cat Food (cans preferred)
Non perishable food items (not water!)
Haircare products
Work gloves
Socks (all sizes)
Feminine hygiene products
Cleaning Supplies
Plastic utensils
Manual Can Openers
AA and AAA Batteries
