Select Board Hears Report on the HFD’s Organization Evaluation – and Re-organizes the Board

A different view of Holliston’s Select Board, but the same passion for doing important work for our town. Recently re-elected Select Board Chair (for part of this meeting) called the May 31, 2022, meeting to order at 7:00pm. Continuing the series of presentations on the many studies / projects underway, the Board launched into its first order of business.

Library Trustees Conduct Annual Meeting

The Library Trustees met Wednesday, June 1, the Annual Meeting following the Town Election of May 24, when Gwyneth Swain and Kristi Wiwczar were re-elected and Mareourn Yai was elected to the group.

Here’s a few thoughts I have right now as I ponder what to read next:
1) Once in a while I need to escape the reality of the world and lose myself in a feel-good story and I’m feeling that now.
2) The weather this weekend has me feeling summer vibes – in my opinion, reading by the pool, lake or ocean calls for light reads and bubbly drinks.
3) June is pride month! Think rainbows, hearts and being your true self. And of course, pick up a book that supports all these things.
Library Director McDonnell to Retire

This summer, Holliston Public Library Director Leslie McDonell will be retiring after 22 years of exemplary service to both the Library and the Community. On June 16th from 3-6 pm, the Friends of Holliston Public Library (FHPL) welcome everyone to stop by the and share well wishes.
