On Monday, April 18, Holliston’s Joanne O’Connell will be running the Boston Marathon for an eighth time. She will be carried along the 26.2-mile route by the memory of her late son, Timothy, who passed away in 2008 at the age of 10 after a courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

Farmers’ Market Accepting Applications
The Holliston Farmers’ Market returns for its second year of operation on Sunday, June 5th thru Sunday, October 2nd. Last year’s market was met with less than favorable weather, with one market being canceled by Hurricane Henri.

Musicians Wanted

An Eagle Scout Project at Pleasure Point
Holliston Eagle Scout Candidate Andrew McWilliams completed his project at Pleasure Point in March. Andrew built and installed two boat racks near the boat launch at Pleasure Point that the Parks and Recreation Department are renting out on a season-long basis for kayakers, paddle boarders and/or canoeists looking to store their equipment on the shore of Lake Winthrop this season.
