As the current trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic continues here in Massachusetts and across the nation, hospitalization numbers will likely continue to climb, and preparations are underway for a “second surge” within our health care system. Nationwide, we are unfortunately on track to hit our all-time high for hospitalized cases sometime this week, and our statewide hospitalization numbers have grown 91% in the last 30 days alone.
The November 9, 2020 Select Board meeting was called to order by Chair, John Cronin at 6:30pm (The earlier time is to allow the Board to conclude business before the Stay at Home Advisory begins at 10:00.)

Last Friday, our statewide COVID-19 public health report contained a sobering reminder of the continued severity of the pandemic: our Commonwealth reported over 2,000 daily new cases for the first time since May 1st.
This Wednesday is Veterans Day. Town offices and schools will be closed. We thank and remember all those who have served to protect our nation.

The 2021 Holliston Cultural Council application process for proposals for funding from local artists, organizations, and schools is now open. The deadline to submit proposals has been extended to December 14, 2020.
