Today marks two weeks to Election Day, and I continue to receive occasional questions from constituents about how COVID-19 has impacted our voting system and what Massachusetts voters’ options are for safe, socially-distant voting.

Select Board Chair, John Cronin called the Monday, October 19, 2020 meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. Having had last week off, this week’s agenda was jam packed.
This evening, you may receive or may have already received a Wireless Emergency Alert via the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). This alert will be sent between 5 and 10pm today to all cell phones in areas around several persistently high-risk communities. Although our towns are not among those being notified, it is likely that residents in communities near Worcester and Framingham will receive alerts as well.
Early in-person voting takes place all week during regular Town Hall business hours in Upper Town. Several Board / Committee meetings are planned for the coming week.
Holliston Rail Trail has some awesome friends. While the pandemic slowed the Friends of Holliston Trails (FOHT) down this past spring, they are busy this fall bringing more amenities to trail users. They have purchased and installed equipment for three exercise stations with money received from two sponsors.
