Crash. 32 Highland; Millis driver tries to climb utility pole with minimal success.
Animal incident, Washington; complaint of dog barking incessantly from an uncertain location. Barking stopped just as HPD closed in on location (retired police dog?).
January 8:
Complaint, 736 Highland’ report of “tree making noise”. Caller fears tree may fall (caller must have read The Secret Life of Trees).
Crash, 174 High; wayfarers from Marlboro and Ashland seek refuge in Holliston.
Crash, Central & Church; motorist ran over some firefighting equipment that fell off HFD fire truck responding to a call. Advised on how to collect damages.
Assist citizen, Brooksmont Drive; caller wanted to advise HPD on new road in town (don’t forget to call the tax collector)
January 9:
Crash, 136 Fiske, one car. No details but Hometown Auto called to pick up the biggest piece.
Suspicious activity, Marked Tree; report of woman screaming for help. HPD found a woman playing in the snow with her daughter (imagine the noise when she tells her to make her bed).
Crash, 703 Washington; two not-so-wise men from Medway and Upton arrive at a starred spot at the same time.
January 10:
Vehicle stop with summons; 725 Washington; Segundo S. Espinoza of Milford for licensed operation of unregistered vehicle.
Crash, Washington & Elm; DPW front end loader versus a little Honda (hardly a fair contest).
January 11:
02:30AM Crash, Another Upton driver involves a Holliston resident in vehicular mayhem. Hometown Auto responded.
January 12:
02:00AM, Vehicle stop with summons, 224 Concord; Juan Manuel of Milford for speeding and unlicensed operation (Juan, consider buying a driverless vehicle).
Crash, 660 Marshall; two Holliston drivers so concerned about encountering an Upton driver that they bumped into each instead.
During the reporting period, 14 citations and 19 warnings were issued.
