Child Locked in Car
The Holliston TAB, November 24, 1998 – On Wednesday, November 18, at 2:30 PM, a Washington Street resident called police to report that a child had been locked inside a motor vehicle near the post office.
Upon arriving to the site, police learned that the mother, operator of the car, had manually locked the vehicle and left the keys inside. The car was opened by police shortly after police arrived at the scene.
Burst Pipe
On Wednesday, November 18, 1998, at 7:25 PM, the fire department required police assistance to respond to a fire alarm coming from the Lowland Street area. The alarm was caused by a burst water pipe, police said. No other information was available in the report.
Assault and Battery
On Tuesday, November 17, 1998, at 9:55 AM, a Mill Street resident was arrested on assault and battery charges. The arrest emerged as a result of a domestic dispute between a youth and his stepfather.
Police said that during a heated debate, the youth allegedly hit his stepfather on the left shoulder with a plastic pipe. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, police said.
