School Committee has requested an Override as condition of Teachers’ Contract
HOLLISTON, Mass. June 3, 2024 – The Holliston Select Board, per request of the School Committee, has opened a Warrant for a Special Town Meeting to be held at the Holliston High School Auditorium on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 7:00 p.m:

The Warrant is open through Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. For further information, contact the Town Clerk’s Office or the Town Administrator, Travis Ahern, at ahernt@holliston.k12.ma.us. Finance Committee recommendations on the Warrant will be available no later than June 13, 2024, per the Town’s by-laws. A Special Town Meeting vote on an Operational Override will also require a ballot question on a local election, which must be performed within 90 days of the Special Town Meeting, and must be completed no later than September 15, 2024 to successfully impact the Tax Levy Limit for Fiscal Year 2025 (which runs from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025).
Lastly, the regularly scheduled Fall Town Meeting will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the Holliston High School Auditorium. The Warrant for the 2024 Fall Town Meeting will be opened in early August 2024 and remain open through early September 2024.
