Before taking action on Article 32, Moderator Mayer thanked Attorney Costa for being present during the meeting as well as helping to prepare the Warrant. Earning Mr. Mayer’s compliments were the members of the Select Board and Finance Committee who worked collaboratively to develop the Warrant. Town Administrator Ahern received Mayer’s thanks for preparing a Warrant that made his job easier.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:17pm. Photos and relevant discussions will be posted separately in the coming days – stay tuned.
Thank you Chris and Yvette for the timely updates as always. Last Town Meeting as reporters…bittersweet!
Thank you also to Mr. Moderator, Bill Mayer, who was able to thank everyone for the work that led to Town Meeting, but I’d like to express my thanks and the thanks of staff, elected and appointed officials, and Town Meeting participants, for his handling of important business in such a timely manner.
And thank you to all those that attended last night and participated in Holliston’s legislative process! For items that were postponed, like the Tree Ordinance, I hope to see everyone back at the Fall Town Meeting on Oct. 16th to pick up where we left off!
